**If you have been a Member of The Felling Food Network previously, where we have supported you either long term or short term with food support, we will now require a referral in relation to your enquiry to The Felling Food Network for further food support. The referral maybe from a GP, Gateshead Council, Citizens Advice etc.**

The Felling Food Network is only open on the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Wednesday of each month.

The Felling Food Network provides short term food support by appointment only on a Wednesday to either individuals or families in need of help and support by providing a three-day emergency food parcel for a period of up to 3 weeks.

The Felling Food Network also provides advice/signposting and referring to other support services.

HOW TO APPLY FOR FOOD SUPPORT BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

PLEASE NOTE THE FELLING FOOD NETWORK IS ONLY OPEN ON THE 2nd WEDNESDAY  and 4th Wednesday of EACH MONTH

The Felling Food Network cannot simply issue a three-day emergency food parcel without asking some questions that can enable us to properly assess a persons need or where other services or organisations can help.

  • If you are currently receiving help and support from an organisation for example Citizens Advice, Gateshead Council or another organisation, GP, etc, then please provide details on the Form.
  • If you have been a Member of The Felling Food Network previously, where we have supported you either long term or short term with food support, we will now require a referral in relation to your enquiry to The Felling Food Network for further food support. The referral maybe from a GP, Gateshead Council, Citizens Advice etc.

Once the form is submitted to The Felling Food Network, an appointment time will be provided to you.  The appointment time will be your time to attend on a Wednesday at the Cadet Building, Wellington Street, Off Dexter Way, Felling, to collect a three-day emergency food parcel.  We would kindly ask that you attend at your provided appointment time or let us know if you are unable to attend.

HOW TO APPLY FOR FOOD SUPPORT

Please fill in the form below. Once submitted, The Felling Food Network will send an appointment time to you. If you’re having any difficulty filling the form in, just drop us a line or text and we will be happy to make alternative arrangements to apply.  The appointment time will be your time for the next 3 weeks to attend on a Wednesday to collect a three-day emergency food parcel.

We would kindly ask that you attend at your provided appointment time on the Wednesday or let us know if you are unable to attend.

The personal data we collect will be used for the following purpose to register with The Felling Food Network to receive food support. We will not share your personal data with a third party. Your personal data will be stored securely and will be removed.

You can withdraw you consent for us to use your information or ask us to amend or delete your details by contacting The Felling Food Network CIO.

Code of Conduct – Our service is run by volunteers to support people in our community. We would politely like to ask all customers to respect our policies and procedures (the way we run things), our volunteers and other customers.

We will not tolerate any offensive language or behaviour or any misuse of the service we provide. Should any of these circumstances arise we will immediately remove food support.

Due to the increasing number of members to The Felling Food Network, we are only able to provide food parcels by appointment only on a Wednesday to those in person who have registered to collect a food parcel for either themselves or their family.
