The Felling Food Network is offering a Warm Space between 11:30am and 1pm.  The space is available on days we are open only.  We are open the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

Visitors can enjoy a comfortable seat with a free cup of tea or coffee along with biscuits as well as a friendly welcome.

The Network was delighted to supply local families in need with food parcels and Christmas boxes full of seasonal treats via The Bede Community Primary School.

We have been busy during this period attending Craft Fairs to raise funds for the Food Network.  Thank you to all who supported us by visiting our table.  We hope you found something you loved to buy!

Our Thanks…

The Felling Food Network would like to Thank all the generous individuals, businesses, charities, retailers and organisations for their donations over Christmas and throughout the year, which help to support the work we do and those who receive our help.

During the Christmas period, we have been fortunate to receive donations from Businesses and Groups for which we are very grateful and send our warmest Thanks.

Thank you to all the people who attended our first ever Christmas Fair; we do hope you enjoyed your time and managed to buy – or win! – something nice.

It was wonderful to see you all and especially the children at Santa’s Grotto.

Thanks also to the Sellers for bringing such lovely items and to those who generously donated items for us to use at the Fair.

We also owe a huge Thanks to our Volunteers for their continued support and much appreciated time and effort, not only at our Events, but every week.

We hope to see you all at our next Event in 2023!

autumn fair

Many thanks to all of you who attended our first ever Event – We were so pleased to see you all and we are holding a Christmas Fair 26th November.

Our tombola sold out! People were keen to buy our preloved and new toys at bargain low prices and children delighted in winning a prize every time on our Hook-a-Duck game.

Lucky Raffle winners have all collected their prizes which included a hamper, gin set, bumper chocolate hamper and a bottle of fizz – Congratulations to all of you and thank you for buying tickets.

Iona Road Allotments

Many thanks to the Iona Road Allotment Growers for the wonderful donation of produce.

As you can see, we were blessed with a small harvest of rhubarb, apples, onions, a pumpkin and herbs.

We loved the kind gesture of flowers in cola bottles – it all made for a pretty display which delighted our members.

It was wonderful to have our friends from the Melissa Bus visit us once again at the Felling Hub.  Visitors to Felling Hub and the High Street benefitted from advice from agencies from health, housing, benefits and so much more.

Energy advisers were on hand to help local people during what is proving to be a difficult time for all.

Well Done Everyone!
